"Hi, I have always had an interest in shares from a long time ago. However, I always thought that they were the reserve of the wealthy. I had heard of investment clubs, and I even toyed with the idea once or twice of forming my own, but as these things usually go I never got around to it. Then fate played its part, I moved home at Christmas 1994 and it was then that I met my new neighbour who I can now say is a very good friend. It was early summer and Mark had passed a beer over the fence when he asked that fateful question "have you ever heard of an investment club" and the rest as they say is history."
Tony has a number of jobs, apart from the Chairman of the Monkeys
He is also the Social Secretary of this as well as the other clubs. He normally has to tell at least one terrible joke per meeting and organise the Christmas evening out plus any other social events deemed to be necessary during the year - they are normally combined and members of all the family of clubs attend.
He normally carries out the design and construction of the web-sites for the clubs (see the H&G and Dirty Harry Web sites) and is a much better designer than I. (You can tell, can't you?)
How the heck he does all this while running a company of his own I don't know....
