When I was originally approached by Mark to see if I wanted to join an Investment Club I wasn't even sure what it entailed, so I accepted an invitation to the inaugural meeting to see how I felt. I came away from that meeting being voted in as chairman.
I have never regretted joining a club - I would never have learnt so much about the markets on my own. It is made much easier learning alongside others in a relaxed environment, such as the club meetings in the pub. So long as we keep the investments in perspective it should remain fun!
Apart from secretary, I am also Chief Whip Holder - i.e. in charge of the beer money! This means that if I don't turn up, I get abused! In addition to this I am the author of this website - I have never attempted to make a website before - it is my first time! (You can probably tell!)
Investment clubs are great fun - join one if you can!
